When life begins to feel overwhelming, it’s important to remember that you’re not alone. Sometimes the best way forward is to find a safe place free of judgement, where empathy and unconditional regard await. Individual therapy sessions are opportunities for us to work together one-on-one to process whatever challenge you might be facing.

For Individuals

Whether you’re facing a specific relationship conflict or not, couples therapy can be a powerful force for positive change. Together, we’ll explore values systems and communication styles and clarify needs and expectations to help you grow together.

For Couples

Sometimes loving families need support to be their best. These sessions allow families to work through challenges related to dynamics, roles, and other problems in the family system. In family therapy, we create space for family members to express themselves as individuals and foster stability and balance for the whole family.

For Families

Our Therapeutic Model

We practice Person-Centered Therapy, a non-authoritative approach in which the client takes an active and leading role in discussions. This promotes self discovery and inner growth. The therapist guides this process, while providing the client with support and encouragement.

Serving those who served

We are proud of our special connection to military families. Our founder Joey Guzman-Kuffel’s husband, Rob, served on active duty for over a decade and in civil service for an additional 8 years. We are committed to helping military families with the unique traumas they face. Therapy sessions for military families are designed to help individuals and families cope with depression, anxiety, readjustment, PTSD, and other mental health challenges.
